WILDLIFE in the garden

Medicinal Herbs for Birds Blue Tits take aromatic herbs, especially mint into their nests and feed to their young or introduce it to their young. Research has shown that this brings down the incidence of bacterial infection that might affect the fledglings. Blue Tits have been observed actively seeking out mint. Rosemary is another herb they use, but not nearly as frequently. Can anyone identify what might be nesting in Val Fords birdfeeder seen below? - answers to Webmaster Richard@chezcalou.fr
